Any type of A/C work almost always needs the refrigerant to be evacuated from the system and stored. It is illegal for it to be released into the atmosphere. The dealer than puts the same refrigerant back in. The machines that do this are not cheap and definitely not affordable for personal use.

The only time this does not need to be done is if it is a simple wiring repair or fuse replacement.

Take it to a dealer or repair shop that does A/C work.

On a side note, MANDRUZZI...is there any reason why you capitalize every word in your sentence? It makes it difficult to read.
