Sorry if this is off topic for a moment...but, the R/T is AWD and the HP is about the same, stock, that is. The difference to me was the Caliber's CVT vs. Subie's auto transmission and their take off. I had a problem getting used to the CVT lag at the take off. The auto doesn't respond as quick as the manual but, it is much faster than the CVT, IMO. The interesting thing is I am also getting better gas mileage than our Caliber. Similar size engine, different maker.
I still love the ride, styling and comfort of our Caliber, though. The leather is comfy and the premium stereo just blows you away. My last car was an RX-8 and it had a Bose stereo that didn't sound as good, IMO. Never really liked Bose, you know? No highs, no lows, it must be Bose. Our Caliber also has a lot of roominess to the feel and looks like a mini-Magnum to me.
