Sound System

Mopar Has A Bad-ass System Made By Kicker Out. It Is Different From The One That Comes In The Srt-4. Its About $1400 To $1500 Installed. You Can Only Get It From A Dealer.

yea, pioneer makes some quality stuff. im a big fan. i had a pioneer head unit with pioneer speakers front and back in my celica, 4" round and 5" x 8" i believe. they were both a little smaller than the stock speakers and used different mounts, so i had to do some fabricating to get them mounted solidly. only needed to use some thin plywood and wood screws really. never rattled or anything, and it beat the hell out of the stock system that was in that car. the 5x8's in the back pumped some decent bass too, even without an amp or sub. then again, im a rock guy, so im not looking for earth-shattering thump anyway.

Kicker makes a sweet system for the Caliber. You can contact the dealership and get the part #'s......

There is also 1-2 Ebay stores that I've found that will sell it.

It's available part by part, or as a complete kit for just under $1,300.00

includes (2) square 10" subs, (4) 6x9's, new 8ch amp, Musicgate liftgate speakers.

Stereo Upgrade

I am going to change out the door speakers to Sony 6 x 9 3 ways, (an easy swap out), and am looking into the new JL Audio Stealthbox, that is custom fit for the Caliber. It is a 10" sub that fits in the rear side compartment, where the factory original upgrade Boston would go. It looks great, but is expensive at $499.00.

sound system

i've got a pretty major sound system in my caliber, it's not hard to do just a little time consuming and making sure everything you buy fit's. i managed to get a new head unit, 2 component set's (front and rear) i've got 2 kicker solo baric 15's and 2 10's with 4,000 watts going to everything. then other small thing's like 3.5 farad power cap, day/night vision rear view camera with a 6 1/2" LCD rear view mirror. i'll post pic's soon but my car is being shipped from europe so it's some where in the atlantic.

I installed a pioneer avic d3 and fabricated my own dashkit. also you are going to need a amp interface part#chto-01 which will make the install a breeze.. I'll post some pic ltr
