| Armor all problem Was using armor all to clean my dash cause the mechanic who prepped it got oil smudges on the dash. Anyway when i was sprayin on my cloth i got some armor all on my srt-4 drivers seat. On the woven vinyl inserts and it looks all splotchy and terrible. Any ideas on how to get it out? |

| Super Moderator | Sorry not sure how to get it out, try going to a furniture store, and asking a rep there...just pretend you are talking about one of their couches You also dont want to use armorall, that product contains a specific oil that in time will dry out, and crack the places wherever you put it.

| Super Moderator | hey, got a question about the seat insert. does it have the tag saying it is the YES* type of cloth? if so warm water should take everything out, if it doesn't say look in the owner's manual to double check that it isn't, if it isn't a trick I picked up during my detailing career is to use glass cleaner and clean, lint free rag. the "soap" will usually get rid of the dirt and the alcohol in it will dry quick. you may have to use it a couple of times, but it does work, most of the time

| ive been using meguiars all interior surfaces cleaner for the interior except the seats i use meguiars leather cleaner. The finish is a light shine but definitely not armorall shine. not even close. armorall dries your car as was previously stated. I have been using these products for years and they ALWAYS make the interior look like new again. I only put it on like once a month just to keep up. never gotten a dash crack or nothing. My friend bought a c5 when i got my neon in 03 he always put armorall ALLOVER the inside and i always used my meguiars stuff. Now his interior looks like if has wrinkled skin. Literally just dry looking and only armorall can take away that look like a crackhead wanting crack. But in the end still looks like shit. my dash looked new before i traded it in. |
