Warranty Options - Dodge Caliber SRT-4 Forums

I've been looking around trying to find any information on the warranty options that were available for the SRT4 Caliber.

I also vaguely remember the dealership mentioning something about before the original warranty expires (if you haven't chosen the extended) that is it possible to apply for that. However, the price goes up on that option over time, per month I believe, or something like that.

I got an extended warranty through dodge. Plan code is 415, 5 year or 100,000km. With the SRT4 it falls out of the basic Dodge coverage and only a 3 year/60,000km. I paid 2,855. For the extended, but then the dealership had to eat a grand or a little more, cause there is a surcharge on the extended, being an SRT model.

if you are to buy it now, its more. You would have to call a dealer to find out.

Yeah, I know. I think it increases in price by the month, or something like that. I more or less was just wondering what options there were to upgrade to.

Also, I thought there was a difference in drivetrain/powertrain warranty?

had extended warrany and canceled it when i got to GA, dodge wont warranty anything if u moded at all! so 3K back off my loan

I bought mine at another dealer, then the one I bought the car.
7yr. 85,000mi., Max Care.
Covers 8,000 plus parts. Bumper to bumper.
The seller made a mistake in his calulations, paid $1600.00 and got a Garmin 255W series GPS, thrown in.
I wanted the piece of mind, as for all the electrical items on these units.
They were having a contest to see who could sell the most extended service plans and said to forget the extra cost, as he was the top leader in selling the plans.
You have one year from date of purchase to buy the extended service plan. After that is when you start paying the penalty prices.
