Who works for a dodge dealer?

I know someone who once said that there husband worked for a dodge dealer and could drive any car off the lot up to five thousand miles. I am wondering-who gets the benefit of a demo car? If anyone works at a dealer and could describe their demo plan I would greatly appreciate it!

Demos

it depends on your payplan. When hired as a MANAGER, he/she can request a demo as part of their payplan. The reason why is because you don't make any car payments and you don't pay for gas. That right there can be about an extra $1,000.00 per month. However, some dealers give it to people who are deserving and generate alot of profit for the store. Most dealers only give demo's to MANAGERS.

same here in WI, a car can be listed as new as long as it has less than 6k on it, i read in hot rod magizine a few months ago of a 1971 superbird for sale as new b/c it only had 4500 miles on it, and no one ever bought it, the dealers owner took it home and it sat for years, now for sale for 100k.
