GB interest?? Halo Ring Kits for heads & fogs

Has anyone tried putting in the Advanced Automotive Concepts - Halo Ring kit on their lights, heads or fogs yet??

How hard is it to take the covers off of the headlight assembly and then get them resealed so they don't get condensation in them??

Anyway, I emailed this company early, I found out they did a group buy on these for the Charger Forumz. He was offering them the $200 kit for $100 if 30 or more people wanted them. I am trying to see if he will give us the same deal. Kit includes, 4 Halo Rings and the balasts.

They also have the rings for our foglights. I asked about a total package deal.

Let's start now and see how many are interested!!!!!!!!!!!

For what its worth...

I was looking at a pair of blue halos for my fogs, but I wouldn't do the headlights.

although i haven't done these on the caliber, i did install them on my magnum. overall, the job isn't too hard but is a little stressful. baking your headlights is a crazy thing to do. i didn't have any issue with melting, but many people have. you just have to be patient and leave the oven alone when the lights are in there (ie. don't open the door). patience is the key overall. for resealing, make sure you clean out all of the old factory sealant and use an obscene amount of silicone to reseal. fill the channel with silicone and press the two halves together. i haven't had any condensation issues (even through winter and spring). i did have some issues with the kit though. if you get these, cut off the the connectors they use to connect the rings to the ballasts. they suck big time. i had two melt. a drop of water gets in there and shorts them out. cut them off and use regular separate connectors. no issues with that since. the other issue i had was with the inverter crapping out. many people have had this issue. they have updated their inverters so they're supposed to be more reliable. sure hope so. the old ones have caught fire on a number of members cars on other forums.

aac has just released led halos for the lx cars (magnum/300/charger). see if they'll make them for the caliber. if so, i may be interested in getting a set. i'm not up for another inverter system though.

here's some pics:
