Mopar bodykit for Caliber

After seeing the SEMA pics I started calling around trying to find the bodykit that Mopar makes for the Caliber. Most of the dealerships here are cluless. It's not on the Mopar webstie either. I did get these numbers from a Dodge parts department. They said it was in their "Mopar 2007" catalog.

Body kit #82210353 $475.00
Front Spoiler #82210172 $249.00

Catalog said the bodykit had to be installed with the lower front spoiler. So, the total is $724.00

Can anyone check with their local dealers to see if this is the correct information before I order?

Hopefully it's the right kit.

they said the hood wasn't mentioned at all in the catalog, but I want to make sure the bodykit i was quoted is really the Mopar bodykit, and not a ground effects kit.

So when you got this info did it say whether or not it comes in your choice of color or is it unpainted? Also whatya mean front spoiler, is that like the front grill area, if so, does it come with the mesh inserts?

doesn't make sense....you have to buy both, but are sold seperatly... they should be sold together.

also, i agree with KStryker, more info is needed....

i really don't care for the front spoiler (or ground effects kit) but i wouldn't mind the bumper if it came with the hood!

The dealer did ask what color i needed. My caliber is Solar Yellow. he said that color wasn't available. The numbers i got are for the primed kit. The dealer didn't know much about the kit, and there were no pictures. the description in the system said to install the "front spoiler" with the kit.

I visited another dealership, but I had more info than they did. Right now I am assuming the parts are a ground effects kit.

for one, a "front spoiler" is usually on the bottom of the front bumper. the Mopar body kit, as far as I can tell, has a one piece front bumper with an "extension" at the top.
second, the Mopar body kit comes with a carbon fiber hood. There's no way you can get this entire kit with a hood for $724.00

I've got my local speed shop checking for me. So, I guess I'll wait a couple of weeks to see what turns up.

I heard that the Solar Yellow was discontinued. I don't see why, it's an excellent color and many people want it.

That is correct info for hte wrong kit. That is for a very subtle "lip kit" that only adds an inch or two. Not even what the razzi kit does. There was a cali with it at my local dealer about a month ago. Ive been searching feverishly for Mopar Body kit info and cant find anything. Patientce is what it looks like right now.

Solar Yellow was a limited edition color. I actually paid extra for it. It's kinda like the orange Nissan Murano. They only make so many.

Oh yeah, I found out later that it was the "sport" look kit. They sell on Mopars web site now. Still waiting on the real body kit.
