Polished Stainless Pedal Kit

These pedals were in my glove compartment of the CSRT-4 that I just purchased.

What's the trick to getting them on? I have tried soaking them in hot water; but, that didn't help. I guess the easy way would be to bring the car back to the dealer.

try cutting a slit in one of the corners so that hard rubber gives you some leeway and then put them on. It was a bish before I did that and now they're on for good!

KY Jelly.... or a smidge Mobil 1 Oil.

Don't ask which one I used.

The trick is have the dealer do it. It should have been done at the PDI.
If you cut them and they fail later, you're responsible.
Just go into the dealer and raise a little hell politely with the service mananger.
Explain to them how PDI wasn't done correctly, i.e., if the pedals weren't mounted then maybe the strut spacers weren't taken out, or the fluids weren't all topped off.???
It will work.

hahahaha did anyone have these already installed? I found them in the trunk by the portable air compressor. I just worked one side at a time.

Those things were a pain in the ass to get on. My fingers killed for a day or two after getting them on.

I didn't use any lube, just a flat screwdriver to try and work the edge on the pedal.

It is a really tight area down there.. hence the need for the KY.
