| Halo Projector Headlights I found these headlights on Ebay. They are a little pricey, but I'll try to find them elsewhere for a little less. I think they'll match my halo fog lights quite nicely though. ![]() Last edited by okiecaliberguy : 01-22-2007 at 04:17 PM. Reason: added to message |

| Member | yea these have been all over other caliber forums. Issues coming up are the fact that they are photoshopped onto the car, not a picture of them actually on, and that the blue running lights at top might not be legal. I dont care, I think they look kick ass. Just don't have $250 to spend right now. I'd get the black ones for my black car. |

| well, it depends. most of the headlights come with knockoff h.i.d. lights. there were a couple of sets that came with an H.I.D. upgrade (including bulbs and ballasts). They cost about $100 more though. On top of that, I'm not sure these headlights are made to handle that much heat. |

yeh, i noticed a few of them are $100 more...but when you say the headlights aren't made to handle heat what do you mean? Aren't they supplying us with the special xenon bulbs? or you talking bout the area around the bulb...break it down for me, im super slow when it comes to cars :P

| I'm talking about the area around the bulbs. the halogen bulbs should be okay. the real hid bulbs generate a hell of a lot more heat (approx. 4200Kelvin/7100 degrees F for blue look, up to 12000Kelvin/21,140 degrees F for purple look) than regular halogens (approx. 3200Kelvin/5300 degrees F). some aftermarket companys don't use the best materials (thin plastic) when making headlight assemblies. if that's the case with this one, the bulbs could start melting the plastic around the bulbs. |

| Super Moderator | ahhh i see, so i guess i need to talk to someone at dodge then because im getting my taxes soon and was planning on getting a hid kit, and the mopar or dub body kit if its ever gonna be in stock on the site you supplied us with, i wish i had the black instead of the marine blue now, trying to replicate the black dub from the car show.
