Caliber CVT Tranny Recall

Seems 2 local dealers in the NE have sent back close to 1/2 dozen calibers ordered. Supposedly, they found an issue with a certain run of the CVT calibers released. Hope this isnt a taste of things to come. Any one else see this kind of activity in there area?

I hear that there is going tobe a recall on the chill zone. A lot of people are having problems with the vent staying in position. For now the solution is tape but theres going to be a dealer installed fix soon.

Caliber recalls

Had my baby into the shop last week for her first oil change. Chill Zone fix is on the way.

Did get a letter from Dodge on Saturday about a recall regarding the thermostat. Now, I have to take it in for them to put something new in or program something ... can't remember what the letter said off hand.

Compass parts on the Caliber

I heard they were having issues as far as some wrong parts being installed in the factory on some of the ones that were just shipped out/getting ready to ship. They put a hold on the ones that weren't ordered directly by customers so I hear. Evidently the new Jeep Compass is being built in the same factory and some how or another a couple of its parts ended up on the Caliber line. It was my understanding that they caught it before any of them actually left their lot but who knows. lol One of the parts was supposidly the glove box. One would think you would notice that one pretty easily though

The production lines for the Caliber and Compass, and soon to produce the Liberty, can produce all three different vehicles on the same line. But the Swedish made robots are having a lot of mechanical issues right now.
