Issues with the AC?

OK I am probably behind on the times here but has anyone heard of a possible TSB on the AC or anything?

I have 20% tint all around (but my windshield obviously) and It takes at least 10-15 min for my car to even start getting cooler. My kids are still in the back screaming that they are hot even at that point. I'm in Indiana and it doesn't even get THAT hot compared to most places. It did hit 98 degrees with a heat index of 115 today though. The hotest I can remember in a LONG time. My Ford Freestar minivan which has a much larger cabin cools off in about 3-4 minutes

I know, I know stop complaining. The worst part is my service department thinks I'm nuts whenever I call. They say they need my car for at least an entire day if not two to figure out what this "ping" is I'm talking about! They haven't heard of anything like that. LOL I should tell them to get on here.

My AC is kick-butt. Now, that's coming from a girl in Texas that had NO AC prior to May 16th of this year. It actually gets pretty darn cold in them there parts of my car and I'm NEVER cold.

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean your's might need to be looked at or tweaked. I'd take it in and get a loaner car for about a day or two, give them your list of stuff they need to fix and don't let up on them until it's done!

I have an AC vent directional control knob that I've complained about 3x now.... Walter promised me he fix it as soon as I get back to Houston and bring it in. I hope Walter delivers.

I am trying to get them to look at it. I am just having tons of issues with these people. There is a RECALL/TSB on some of this stuff and they won't even look at it. I am going to have to find a new dealership that is for sure

I would find a new dealer, and plus is there a corporate 1800 number you can call to complain? For most corporations, if you complain to the higher ups, they'll fix their wagons.

Is your current dealer a 5-start dodge dealer?
I've had better luck with those guys than regular dodge dealers.
So far, my dealer is close to my work and hasn't gotten me po'd.

Oh yes, they are 5 star. That is how I ended up there in the first place. This must be why they offered me a free tank of gas if I take my survey in for them to fill out and send in for me

i'm having an a/c issue now. the a/c cools off fast, but then it gets humid every now and then like i'm turning off the recirculation.
