| Senior Member | Doors sound hallow? OK, has anyone else noticed that our doors seem like they are going to be able to dent real easily? I haven't had one myself yet...knock on wood...but when I shut the doors with any kind of force they don't have a very reassuring sound. I don't know how to describe it though, it just sounds hollow and not strong I guess. Has anyone else noticed this? p.s. Yes, I have actually had alot of time on here today First time in a couple of weeks, sorry for all the posts and questions ![]()

| Senior Member | The doors are very similar to what I had on my Saturn. They have a little "give" to them if you butt them if you don't get it closed for some reason. It's probably that "dent-resistant polymere" (aka plastic). If it is, they held up 100% in my Saturn for 11 years. NO DENTS! I was very happy with it on my old hooptie and hope that's what Dodge did. I never needed any body work done on the Saturn.
