Does the SRT4 really sell within $1k of sticker?
I am in the market for an SRT4 (and when I get one, I'm sure I'll be quite active in this forum). I was very close to buying one this evening, but the dealer wouldn't move much at all off the sticker price. I tried with competing offers for other cars and what other dealerships had made up, but the best they would do is $100 over what they claim their invoice was. That turned out to be about $900 or so off the sticker. I walked out, because I wasn't anticipating spending that much dough.
Are most of these things going for close to sticker? If so, I guess I'll have to get one with fewer options. |

if you can find a dealership that's itching to make the sale anything is possible,
i got a pretty amazing deal on mine, but i negotiated the hell outta it, and my dealership kinda hates me, haha... It's sticker price was a $32,000 but i negotiated so that with taxes and interest factored in (plus the buyout at the end of the 2 yr lease) i will only pay a total of 30,000 (CAD). I'm pretty happy with the deal i got. |

the best deal......
Mine was 25K on the sticker. I paid 22,800 after taxes and tags with no money down. And I hear there is a rebate now up to 2000 bucaroos depending on who you are and where you live. I bought mine back in Feb., and there were no rebates available. But the market sucks and salesmen and dealers are itchin to move cars. The worst they can say is no deal.
