2007 dodge caliber wont go into gear any suggestions to what might be wrong? car

does start and drives? i have to hit the override switch to get it unlocked, it does drive, no warning lights come on

I think you may have to take it to a mechanic. More than likely your shifter has a defective part within it somewhere. I know this isnt a lot of help but I just figured I would try to help you out.

I think you may have to take it to a mechanic. More than likely your shifter has a defective part within it somewhere. I know this isnt a lot of help but I just figured I would try to help you out.

Well, that's why you have a warranty

You could have an issue with the interlock cable, or the shifter assembly itself.

Hard to say until you have someone look at it.
