Question Window tint and TPM (or TMP?).

I read in the owner's manual that some window tints will mess up the tire pressure monitoring system. Has anyone had tint put on and and seen this happen?

Mine are now tinted Limo on all rear.... 20% on front windows for legal purposes.

No problems at all with the TPMS.

You could try reading the manual. I wouldn't make this up.

Reflective tint makes more of mess of cars with wireless stuff like TPMS and Satellite Navi. Not so much regular tint. So no worries.

My old 06 Benz had Satellite navi and I had to replace the back window with regular tint. I didn't find out till later till one of friends that works in a tint shop told me.
