Extra's

What things would you like to have in the Caliber, that is not present on it now? Not extensive modifications, just the little things in life needed.

Firstly, before I bought my caliber I was checking a magazine, and I coulda swore both the front and rear cup holders, would like light up...and now that I have it, it's only the front, what happen to the rear passengers?

Secondly, the vanity mirror, Umm where are the lights, why do I always have to put on the dome lights.

Lastly, the hatchback, is it just me or does it always collect dust extremely easily. They shoulda shaped it better....shrug

Let's hear your thoughts!!

Foldable power side mirrors. I don't have a Caliber, but I heard they don't have foldable side mirrors?

okay, i got a base model 1.8L Caliber, and it doesn't have a tachometer. How can you make a standard transmission without a tach?

i have another one. I was sitting at a stoplight and some jerk in a white pickup truck pulled up behind me within about 12 inches of my bumper, and starts revving his engine and jerking his truck closer to me. i started thinking about the exhaust flame thrower kits, and how one would have come in handy. then i started thinking if he was that close his truck could actually catch on fire or explode (maybe i've been watching too many action films). anyway, a nicer solution would be a more powerful washer fluid motor and maybe adjustable nozzle for the rear window. I could've easily sprayed his truck from that distance.

okay maybe i'm crazy, or maybe it's because of the new Bond film out, but I thought that would have been pretty cool.

The head rests are way to hard and uncomfortable. I think they should idealy have memory foam, but at least be more like the rear seats. The front seat head rests are horiable.

Here's what I did with mine, filled the hole with expanding foam and
put a thin layer of memory foam for shape and comfort.
Believe it or not the cover is a nylon winter hat(we call them toques
in Canada)from the dollar store pulled over and fasten with velcro.
Total cost per headrest $3.00 CAN.

Now that is what I am talking about!

That is awesome, Anyone else fixed their head rest?

You should consider selling this upgrade on e-bay. You could get say $25-$50.00 per headrest.
