Can You Paint Stock Rims?

I want to get the rims of my '08 Caliber SXT painted. Anyone have any ideas of where I can get that done?

save yourself the money and do it yourself, what is the surfance of the rim? chrome? brushed alum?

i recently did the rims on my car, took 2 days... lots of sandpaper, 4 cans of paint, 2 cans of clear, a good fan for ventilation and let it dry in the sun.. came out great and cost around 60.00 to do it.

You can paint stock wheels and make them look good, i've do a couple sets, however you can't go wrong with powdercoating. it's much more durable, and looks better too.

Well 1st, I can't tell what rims I have. I guess they're alloy. I don't know how to paint my own rims. I think I'm going to screw it up, that's why. I can buy the paint I just wanna know how I can get them done. Plus, I live in a row home and I can't drag a fan alll the way to the pavement to the street to dry my rims lol..plleasee help!

P.S.-I fianlly figured out the actual color of my car. It's Surf Blue Pearl
I'm gonna have a tough time finding that color

And what's powder coating??

Powder coating is the technique of applying dry paint to a part then heating it in an oven. The power then hardens an becomes very durable.
