AWD from takeoff?

I recently discovered a feature in my car that the dealer failed to mention. On the R/T's, they are only AWD part of the time. That's why the line time if terrible. If you auto-stickers notice, the car picks up at 25 mph. That's when the car engages the rear wheels to become AWD. At 65 mph, it becomes FWD again, conserving fuel. Does anyone think I could take it to te dealer and make it AWD all the time?

If the dealer can't change this to make your Caliber AWD all the time, I'm sure an aftermarket ECU or tuner can reprogram the computer to AWD all the time. I'm sure Mac will let us know when something is available.
