Is the Dodge Caliber, AWD R/T a good new car?

I like it. But is it worth the buy?

I think that it’s nice to see a small affordable car that has some distinctive, aggressive styling.

Most of the other cars in that segment look like they were all styled by the same dull boring group of designers.

I love their commercial with the big dog mooning all the little whiney rat dogs in their little whiney cars.

Do you need AWD or FWD?
RT it comes in both,AWD with CVT tranny and FWD with 5 spd,
and mpg is less with AWD,so you have to decide.
I have had my Caliber over a year and love to drive it and great mpgs.

AWD is unnecessary unless you're really going to be driving in some bad weather.

I was surprised how well my Caliber SRT-4 did in a few inches of snow with Goodyear F1's. I don't even have all season tires on rated for mud or snow.
