ya know i was thinking about this today and with all respect to the SRT-4...the Evo's history and strength is way beyond the srt4. there's just been so much more development on the evo...now granted the evo's been around longer it's just a much better platform considering stock HP and all wheel drive

true but the dakota has also been around a long time and that didn't stop the radier from production, but like you said,even though it would be nice to the AWD srt4, it's probably not going to happen

For that budjet, I would get an SRT-4 with an automatic, and AWD.
