Exhaust for Dodge Caliber R/T

As one of my first mods for my R/T I would like to buy a nice performance exhaust system. I can't wait until some of the more reputable companies release their full cat back exhaust systems. I would like one especially from magnaflow, I just love the way their exhaust systems sound. I would think a 3 inch exhaust would be good, given that I do plan on adding a turbocharger once one is released and I would need the air flow. Does anyone know if there is any cat back exhaust out for the R/T?

Here's a place where you can find some Mopar performance parts for the Dodge Caliber. They have exhaust, headers, intake and so on. Although it is not clear if its for the 1.8L, 2.0L, or 2.4L engine. You might want to get in touch with them to find out.

Is that air filter they have listed one that is "reusable"? My friend has an air filter in her Jeep GC that she just hoses off and replaces. It cost almost $50, but she'll never have to buy an air filter again. I was wanting one of those but not sure if they had one for the Caliber.

I hope it is, that'll save tons of money. But if you install a cold air intake that uses that style of filters, you can buy any universal filter that will fit the piping.

Good idea! I'll look into the filter and the cold-air intake. I'm all about saving money (geeky math teacher here).

You and Richard are so car smart.... I'm having so much fun gaining all this new insider knowledge.

the Mopar parts are so expensive for the Caliber. The cheapest site I've seen so far is www.dodgeparts.com they respond to emails pretty quick. they have the cat-back exhaust, cold air intake and header.

Just talked to my friend who owns a Jeep GC and he said that the CAI is super easy and he recommended one of those "forever-never-needs-replacing" air filters by K&N. He is going to help me at some point. Aahh.... a friend who knows his way around under the hood and willing to work for beer.

That would be great! Then we'd have pics to go from.
How's that tint job coming along?
