It might be illegal depending on your state. Maybe you might want to call around to auto shops or maybe the sherrif's dept and ask if they are legal in Georgia.

depends... from what i have seen, the "pure white" give off a blue hue with the light.

blue light's are illegal while driving in most states as they are allowed for law enforcement only.

so light blue tint with the light "may" be ok
blue light = bad

it's still best to check your local and state laws, as every state is different....

6000K, 8000K and 8500K are legal in all 50 states, because they are all pure white but give off a faint blue, a medium hue of blue and the a stronger blue coming close to a faint violet. Anyway, anyone know anything about lights, and why some sites just say its plug and play, where u snap out ur regular halogen bulb and put in the new one...others are talking about connecting a ballast and a wiring harness? i dont know. also the prices...some ranging from $50 to $500, weird!!

varies from state to state.

in florida, blue and red are illegal while the car is in motion. now "pure white" bulbs give off a slight blue tint...and i think those are fine here.

shrug...im not certain, the website i went to, cant recall...will have to look it up again...says Installing HID's into any vehicle not originally equipped with them from the factory is illegal.

Doesnt matter to me, Im getting the 6000k or the 6500, which is considered a perfect match to OEM HIDs, nice bright white light, with a slight blue hue.
