new SRT problem

I have had my SRT-4 since DEC. 21---At 70 miles the engine light came on---went back to the dealer and they read a code of a misfire on cylider 1---they reset and sent me on my way---- at 270 miles the same thing happened again---the light come on and it goes into what I would call limp mode--the car has no power----but still runs----They reset again and said it has to get worse before they can fix as they dont have a clue. I am affraid to go on a trip as it might leave me stranded. Any one else have the same or similiar problem and or a idea what is going on---Thanks Ray

We've seen the same thing on a new one that came in a few weeks ago. The tech called Star and was told to remove the battery cable for a half hour, reconnect it and reset the ECM to defaults. Then reconfigure it. Test drove it and everything was OK. Been 2 weeks and haven't heard back from them.

Have you dealership call Star.
