I did not take my engine cover off, plenty of room with it on.

If I remove the intercoole tube the engine cover just pops off...so I might as well. It could only help. Thatnks for all of your help guys. I haven't had an issue working on this car until now. However, everything up until now has juts bolted and un bolted...the whoile bending thing is getting me.

I didn't have a problem taking my bumper off to do the headlights...and this damn heat shield is giving me problems...whats with that!

Okay! Mission accomplished. Now it looks like the DP install won't be a problem at all. I hope!

A word to the wise...I had to take off the intercooler tube...that little black brack on the transmission side of the motor. Its definitely not holding the heat shield on...but it was totally in the way. I don't even remember what it was holding on initially...I took that other piece off to do the BOP. I also had to remove the IC tube and the engine cover (not necessary just gave me more room to work). I then began bending and pushing and pulling and got it out. Had to bend this hell out of it though...reason being I left my strut bar on. If you guys have one installed on your car...then definitely take it off...makes it easier. You don't have to, I didn't, but it would have made it possible for me to lift it even higher than I could with it on there.

Thanks guys!
