Motor Mounts?

I've seen alot of companys out there with their own solid motor mounts such as: Bwoody, AGP, and MPx motor mount inserts in 2 styles(street/race). Was just looking for some feedback on anyone that has them and how they are! Thanks!

Re: Motor Mounts?

i have the MPx race motor mounts i like them but they bother a lot of people because they make the car vibrate. some people i have heard say they like the street style more because of the less vibration

Re: Motor Mounts?

I have a BWoody mount. I made an install & review post about it.

Many have recently gotten AGP through a group buy.

There are plenty of info to read about all of them. Just use the search function. You should find what you're looking for.

Re: Motor Mounts?

i recently installed the mpx street inserts and i have to say im loving them. The vibration i felt wasnt really that noticeable unless you are specifically trying to feel for it. One of my buddies noticed it a bit but i didnt really feel a whole lot of change, biggest show of it is my gps mounted on the dash vibrates and u can see that. Performance wise they have helped out a lot with the wheel hop, i used to hop em all the time and now i actually have to try to do it and still dont get much at all. didnt see much help as far as tq steer, but i feel it did help a little bit. Overall im very pleased with them and would recommend them to any csrt owner.

Re: Motor Mounts?

I have the AGP mount and will be putting that in either ths weekend or next. I get a little wheel hop when WOT shifting with the WOT box, so i'm pumped to see how that will help control the hop better.

Re: Motor Mounts?

If you don't want your car to vibrate bad the only thing to get is the MPx street motor mount inserts. I wrote a review on them here so check it out.

Re: Motor Mounts?

I have the Mpx Race mount front only. The vibes are not the bad unless you below 700rpms. While driving i don't notice any vibes. The few WOT pulls i've made i could take my hands off the wheel the car felt so stable. Winter is the worst time for mounts since their material is stiffer in the colder weather. The vibes should calm down during the warmer months.

I have the inserts and they worked very well for the two side mounts, with the power we are making we destroyed the front mount insert.

We have been running the PTP frount mount for over a year and pushing up to 600 WHP through it, zero issues (I even managed to bend the lower mount arm and had to reinforce it).

We are the only company that makes a rear mount for the car. This mount is the most needed mount out of all of them. Its the softest, and largest of the 4 mounts, thus it moves more than any of them. When you replace the rear mount you get some additional vibes, but the TQ steer it all but gone and the car feels much more planted under WOT.

We have ran the PTP rear mount for the last 6 months at HP levels over 600 WHP, and still have not had a single problem with it. We will be putting the hurt on our mounts this coming race season with 26.5 x 10.5 slicks shooting for the fastest Caliber Record.

We have them instock, and ready to ship and a great deal right now on the front mount for $60. Check out the site for payment options.

Thanks.
