Gas spills after fill-up!

Doesn't matter which gas station, which pump, which nozzle I use to fill up the car, it always pukes gas all on the side of car when it's filled up. I've even try to listen as you can tell it's about to be full and I'll manually stop the nozzle and it still pukes gas everywhere like a mofo. Any thoughts, ideas what the heck could be causing this all of the suddent?

Has anyone experience this?

NOT cool.
Have had mine burp a couple times.
Is why I stay to the side and try to avoid the over-fill !!

I'm thinking something is plugged up of some sort! There has to be something that triggers the nozzle to stop before it spills like it is now.

No idea, I've tried looking to see if they've got some kind of sensor or something that vents but it looks pretty straight forward.

The sensor is in the fill pump gun. Not the car gas tube.

Have never had that happen to me in either Calibers I owned.

I'd say your local gas pumps are colluding in tricking customers in an extra half liter every fill up. I can't imagine anything relating to your car that would cause this to occur, other than not putting the gun fully in.

my avalanche had a bad vent tube sensor it would stay closed and keep shutting off the pump. there's no way this would be the gas stations fault because they are always being tested and it's a HUGE fine to not have pumps working. Being it happens at the chains and small time stations it's got to be something in the fill tube or maybe oversight on the design.
