Weird symptom.

So earlier i had a funny thing happen to me. i woke up this morning and plugged my car in. its -17 degrees outside. i left it plugged in for roughly 3 hrs. i went to start my car up to let it run to warm up a bit. well it fired up and ran really rough for a couple seconds then jumped to high idle at around 1800rpm. thats not really what worried me though. as i left my driveway i let the clutch out slowly and started to give it some throttle, and just to keep the car from stalling out, i had to bring the rpm's up to 2k+ or it would've stalled. it drove like this for two stop signs worth of traffic. I don't know if this is normal or not?

I'm running 91 octane premium in the car.
it has 67 000km.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Weird symptom.

Totally normal. When engine is cold, it will idle much higher than normal to build up it's temperature.

Been sick puking and shitting fountains for the past two days and left the car out at -16c without driving it for 48+ hours. When I took the car this morning, it idled around 1600 for a couple of minutes and yeah, it was kinda rough because the fuel system was trying to compensate for air density.
