Blow off valve?

Hello, I am new to this forum. I was just looking at a dealership and it had a Caliber Srt-4. I am very interested in it. I was wondering if it came stock with a blow off valve to make the "psst" sound.
thanks

Yes it comes with a BOV stock , but you can't hear it. If you want that sound. You can buy a Mopar BOV plate that Mopar sells. That will give you that sound you're looking for.

Does anyone know what the part number is? And how much it cost?
Thanks

I have one that I'd be happy to sell you if you're interested. $30 shipped and it's yours.

The Mopar BOV Conversion is simply a plate with holes in it that goes in between the recirculation valve and the Turbo.

It is actuated by the red vacuum line running to it.

Instead of the air running back through the turbo, it is vented to atmosphere.

I just installed the Mopar Conversion on my CSRT-4... took me a whole 20 minutes. Eazy Cheezy.

Question

I think I'm going to get one. Is it really loud and annoying? I wouldn't want one if it was.

Nope... it doesn't sound like it did on the NSRT-4.

I know... I've had a Blue Plate on both NSRT-4 and CSRT-4.

The Caliber has a whole lot more insulation in the firewall area.
I can't wait to add a CAI to help make the turbo louder to match.
