I haven't had anyone want to race yet, but I sometimes take off real quick from a light, if I'm first in line. I was at one today and it was cloudy enough to see the last light to change before ours. As soon as it did, I hit it. Squealed the tires a bit and ran in up to 85 (in a 55 zone). Got a real good second gear chirp and a bit in 3rd. I love the way you can let the clutch out, and then floor it, and it'll break the tires loose.

What year Camaro Z? A WS6 could be the EXACT same as the Z you raced. Or the '00 vette which is faster than either with possibly the same motor. AND the GTO could have the same motor as well but heavier...

I have had my SRT for about 3 months now with only 3700 KM's so im still not pushing it very hard.

I live in a small city of about 9000 people, So far ive always got a 04 Honda Integra revving and flying by me anywhere, an older integra revv towards me, and an old ass civic hatch.

I dont normaly pay any attention to them, besides the annoying sound comming from there mufflers.

I have nothing to prove... and it seems like anybody around here that sticks a muffler on there car, they right away have 300 ponys.

Woohoo, I finally got a challenge today... well not really... but I finally had someone try and race me. It was sort of a touge kind of thing though, it was only a two lane street and I was following a black Acura RSX and once he knew I was there took off like he was some kind of hot $hit. Knowing he was going to try this I just pinned it in 2nd, shifted into 3rd and let off... so I wouldn't ram into him I was catching him so fast!! It was fun after a crap day at work... and when the guy turned off to the right the passenger was hanging out the window with a look of disbelief on his face as to what could keep up to his buddies hot car!! That was priceless...

Theres a kid around here with a Acura Integra, im not sure if they call them RSX's or not???

But anways i did the same thing to him, I pulled up behind him at a red, and just to go straight was the strip around town, so it was straight.

He revved at me.... so i let him take off thinking he had the gain on me, 2 seconds later i was riding his ass, i thought about passing him but my turn off was rite there

I figured that when I bought the SRT4 I would get the attention on the "ricer" crowd. Seems like very intersection turns into a drag strip....with me winning most of the time
