Also I was wondering you got a great deal on the MS3 when I went to look at it would have been a little under $29,000 the dealer was charging $3000 limited availabilty fee did anyone else have to pay that I paid $2,500 for the CSRT-4?
from hanging around the mazda forums, i've noticed there seems to be a lot of regional variability in the pricing of the MS3. people in certain areas are having a wicked time finding one the way they want it. consensus seems to be that the new york area is a good place to be if you want one. my dealer didnt try to charge me any premium or anything like that, but i've heard of others doing it, just not around here.

if you're ever near ramsey, nj, their dealership had like 8 in stock last i checked. go tell them you're thinking about trading in your srt and im sure they'll let you go beat one up for a few min

either miami is a dry market for them, or there's enough people down there willing to pay the premium for it that the dealers know they can get someone to pay the extra $3000. profit margins are pretty slim on the hot hatches, you get a lot of car for not too much money. if they can pocket some extra cash due to the limited run of them (4000 in 07, not sure about 08-08.5) then you can be damn sure they'll do what they can to pull in the extra coin.

This thread is pointless. Kinda like a burnout contest. Fun to look at but gets you nowhere. Lets put this issue to rest since it could probably go on for another 20 pages.

ok stop comparing apples and oranges...

now if you want a reasonable comparison how about the difference between the neons interior and the caliber? Since yanno... the Caliber replaced the Neon.

ill tell you this much... its 10 times better.

/end point.

I dunno, I went out to buy my CSRT4 knowing that I was buying a lower tier car with gobs of horse power. The car is actually a lot nicer than I was expecting it to be.

As far as comparing the MS3 with the CSRT4, this is all that comes to my mind! In the end, you still have to be seen driving one, and I could never picture myself in a MS3.
