Stage 1 300 Ft/Ib Torque Limter?

If I leave the boost at 15 where the stage 1 boosts stock and get all the bolt-ons will it limit me? I'm just a little confused because from what I understand the manifold pressure sensor is where it calculates the torque from. Meaning that any other bolt on shouldn't be limited right????

Yes and no. We have our sensors clamped down to 7 psi and that would mean we are limited to 250 WTQ, but we have made over 600, why?

Well, because a clamp is designed to hide the signal from the PCM and if you take the ability of the PCM to "read" the signal then it just has to guess at the TQ limiter, more or less the PCM gets dumb and you then can get over the limiter.

Clamp the signal down with a clamp and then you will start to see the real benefits of the mods you have installed on your car.

To answer your question without using a clamp.........yes, more bolt on's will cause your ecm to pull throttle with less boost. Meaning a completly stock MS1 car might boost up 16/17 psi temporarily (with 87% throttle) whereas a full bolt on car might start pulling throttle at anything above 14 psi. So the net/net of it is the full bolt on car is just making the same power with less boost.
