How effective are mods really?
Hello, Everyone
I have never posted on the forum before today. I just bought a silver 08 csrt-4. The car is brand new. I have owned it for 3 months. I just added a K&N drop in filter and I had the muffler removed at a local shop and the stock tip reinstalled straight out the back. It was alittle to raspy and loud so I had a 4 inch round resonator 18" long welded in and now it sounds awesome. Stage 1 coming next. But my question is if the computer in these cars limits torque in every gear is doing mods any good. I mean I can add all the power I want but if the computer simply limits power to a certain level then do mods even work? I just was wondering peoples thoughts on this one. Thanks great forum! |
