So I Went To The Track Last Night.... I decided last night that I should take my car to the track last night. I live about 30 min from an 1/8 mile drag strip that I was always at with my talon. I made 3 passes and couldnt break 10... I have the k&n filter in but thats it, and wheel hop was a problem a launch from 1500 rpms still made hop. Im not so much dissapointed but I use to have a GTI and that just had intake and a revo chip and i broke into 9.9.... Has anyone else made any passes? I need a program for my csrt4 i want to unleash the power within lol

Track .68 Reaction 2.56 60ft 6.69 330ft 9.96 1/8et 9.96 Was My Best Time. That Was My First Time To The Strip. I Could Have Done Better But My A Kept Spinning My Tires Thru 1st And Some Of 2nd. Im Going Back Out There Next Week Hopefully I Can Get My Upgrade New Cold Air Intake And Maybe Bigger Intercooler In And Installed Before Then....and See What Happens.

You might get rid of your wheel hop by playing with your tire pressures a bit. Try lowering it a pound at a time.I had the tire pressure in my firebird down to 15 pounds...i know it's rear wheel drive but just a thought.

you dont need that intercooler unless your upgrading the stock turbo or getting a new one. Its not gonna do much. I would also recomend you practice your launches. Do you have the evic? if u do use it to practice your 0-60 time. Plus 2.5 60' is pretty bad 2.1 is your ideal time with stock tires. the intake might help but the car should run low 9's in the 1/8.

best time Just run my car last night. Second time at the track made about ten runs. Temp was about 81 degrees really killed my times. My best though was reaction-.759 60ft-2.504 1/8-9.782 mph-77.16 One little trick you might try on htis run I ran with the A/C on full blast, low rpm launch with minimal wheel spin

| Just as a matter of interest Hector at Exhaust Depot in Orlando has just posted that has a Front Mounted InterCooler ready to go for CSRT4 and it's being tested on New Mexico Caliber right now.
