Tinting helps keep a lot of the heat out, especially if you have leather seats! I live in California, and its hot today, I haven't seen the weather report, but I was told that todays high is 113 degrees.

In California the law is no less than 5% in the rear, no less than 20% on the drivers and passenger windows, and no tint on the windshield. I have 5% on the rear window and rear passenger windows on my Accord, and the leather doesn't come close to being burning hot. Not in the front though, I hate getting in and burning myself on the leather.

HOLY COW! And here I am getting warning tickets for 20%! LOL Plus in Cali it probably has a lot to do with the tinting being needed for the heat you were talking about. Here in Indiana we are upset when it gets to a high of 90. I hate it when it is that hot lol

Is the heat in Cali a humid heat?

If you want heat and humidity... come visit.
H-Town usually is so humid it takes your breath away when you walk outside.
Not to mention the searing heat and pollution!

Ah ...to be in Utah, Idaho, or Wyoming!

Oh no I DON'T want it. Its the humidity that gets me here! If I had dry heat I would be OK. That fact that I work outside doesn't help. lol

I think the stock exhaust is 3 inch....from what I have read. Does this car have a mass air flow sensor? Doing an intake without a proper tune can make the car run lean, which makes it seem faster, but is actually bad for the engine. I just sold my wrx and a blow off valve was one of the last mods, in fact we wouldnt do them untill we upgraded the turbo. The money is better spent in other places if you want pure performace. Does anyone make an engine management unit for Mopars?

My first mod would be engine management, next would be wheels and tires, after that, I would do suspension, then exhaust, intercooler, then turbo, blah blah blah.

Anhybody know when the srt4 is available for purchase?

i'm still waiting for my tint to be delivered. i got 5% all around. no one cares in oklahoma. also, now it's legal to tint the entire windsheild. So, after i do the other 9 windows, i'm adding 5% to the windsheild from the top 12" down.

You might or might not want to tint your driver and front passenger windows, depending on what you prefer.

I got my Accord tinted with 5% tint on the rear passengers and back windows. Although it looks really nice and cool, its hard to see out of them, especially when its dark.

i love 5%. my wife's stratus has 5% all around, but when i backup at night i have to roll the windows down to see the side mirrors.

OK, I am going to HAVE to see this windshield! I am having a hard time even imagining what that is going to look like.
