If anything you should pick up some gas mileage, you are removing alot of restriction allowing your car to breath alot better. However your gasmileage may decrease with the new found power if you can't keep your foot out of it!

Question for all of those who have aftermarket down pipes. Were you able to run the new dp without a tune, or is it a must to have a tune with a dp?

no need for a tune. its more the opposite, the tunes out require a tbe.

the pcm on this car controls boost pretty damn well (too damn well) so even with my full tbe from 02 housing back with no cats and only 1 resonator i didnt gain 1 lbs of boost. my gas mileage is 22ish cityy and 25+ hwy. i went from a 14.0 @ 102 to a 13.8 at 105. someone else went 13.6 with the same exact mods i have (drop in filter, tbe).
