Comfort: SXT vs R/T

I was just wondering if anyone was fortunate enough to test out the ride of both the SXT and the R/T for comfort purposes? If not how does your Caliber perform against uneven roads, railroad tracks, speed bumps, & pot holes?

it kinda feels like a civic to me. not a hatchback. not a new civic. it's smooth, but i feel as much of the road as i want to for reponsiveness. does that make sense?

ummm...kinda. I've only driven a honda civic once and it wasn't a hard ride. I've been driving a lowered s10 for the past 6 years, so the comfort factor hasn't been there for me. I guess either one would be a great step up for me.

I was able to "look at" and RT at the dealer when I was first checking out the Calibers. I wan't able to drive it since it was sold. Is there really that much difference from SE to SXT to RT?

when i test drove an r/t it felt like it had a better grip on the road. it took off faster from a total stop, but also felt heavier.

The AWD system makes the Dodge Caliber heavier but it helps with traction. But I am also hearing that you can now get R/T's in FWD, which would eliminate the weight issue while stilling having that 2.4L engine.
