I'm in the same boat with my '08 CSRT. Loud BANG/SNAP/CRACK when I brake over bumps, hard U-turns, or WOT. I'm not looking forward to bringing it in for warranty work because the guys at the local dealership are a bunch of morons. If the bolts only need to be torqued to spec I'd rather just crawl under the car and do it myself.

They do not need to be replaced if you really dont want to, I just tightened mine to spec and havent had a problem since. Tighten them to 135lb/ft and it should be all good

I brought my CSRT in today for the lower control arm bolts recall. They had to order the bolts (SRT specific) and I have to make another appointment next week. Will update then.

Hey im just wondering because my Caliber was built in November of 2008. Should i be concened? Why im asking is that i hear a loud knocking noise when reversing or slow/fast launches. It'll knock 2-3 times each time. I work at the dealership but im just worried because the guy who does front end work really hates his job may hate me for having my srt4.

Could i go to another dealership?
