I was on a curious George mission last night and i discovered these wires dangling behind and under the ESP botton. Now i came realize that the European Calibers have electronic headlight aiming adjusters, so it figured these are the power and grounds for the motors to do that.

Has this been discussed before? Could these power and grounds be used to power something else?

I want to wire up my GPS so I don't have to devote the cigarette lighter to the GPS and have a cord hanging all over the place... I've decided that the front driver's side corner would be an ideal place for the GPS because it can be seen/used and has near access to wires.

I did this in my old truck: went to Best Buy and bought a cigarette adapter for $10 so I don't have to hack up the Garmin cable. The adapter has two wires coming out the back end: one red and one black...

Now, is there a specific wire in the pillar that will give me 12V of power only when the key is turned? I don't want to have to worry about turning off the GPS or draining my battery. Help is always greatly appreciated!

Hello all!
been too long for me to have been here and post, but its been on %$#$#$^ of a year! Lots of down but way better ups! Well anyways, I re-installed my head tvs with bigger and larger TV/DVD for my children to enjoy long road trips to their birthing units :icon_evil:(mother) house. :icon_eek:
There are quite a few more items to go on my ride, more show than go tho...
Shorty antenna, 20" rims, exhaust, maybe a jl stealth in rear hatch, and last but not last a custom two tone paint job by my boy. Here are what I hope are a few pics of more great things to come.
Sorry for blurry pics, just got home and only had my BlackBerry.

-Blue
-Green
-White
-Red

Pictures of them?! Thanks!!!!!

Hello folks, I've seen some pictures of short antennas around the site and I'm thinking about getting one. I went to the MPx website and found theirs and it said that the short antenna will affect reception. Now, I assumed this would happen but I'm wondering HOW BADLY is the reception affected?
