If you have had your stockers powdercoated, how much did you pay? Pricing for other wheels may be helpful as well. I have only got a hold of one local place so far and they told me $110-120 / wheel for 19". The difference depends on the powdercoat chosen. Thousands of colors including High/Semi Gloss Black which is what I'm considering right now.

They need my wheels for 2 weeks? Seriously? For what!? Can they possibly be that busy? This does include all prep work (sandblasting) and the powdercoat. He even told me the oven baking is only 15-20 minutes.

Getting my windows tinted in a couple of weeks and was thinking about having the shop use some tinting on the rear tails. Probably along the lines of 35 or 20%

Since tint is supposed to be on the inside of a window, my concerns would be the tint coming off or getting air bubbles in it and then looking like crap if it's on the outside.

I've seen the threads of using the spray tint and sanding and buffing, but don't have that kind of time or expertise.

Just wanted to hear some thoughts?

Thanks,

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and just purchased a 2008 dodge caliber SRT4. I love it so far, and learned the only upgrade before purchasing was that the stage 1 kit was put on.

However, the exhaust system and air filter are both STOCK!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just replaced the air filter with a K&N high flow air filter until I can afford a cold air intake.

Anyways, I bet this isn't good or recommended, right?? I ALSO believe the intercooler, wastegate, and oil catcher are all STOCK too!!

Is the car safe to race (or driven hard) without more upgrades????????????

I wanted to know where I can read about the SRT4 caliber, neon, etc. WHICH MAGAZINES FEATURE THIS CAR?? I don't think Mopar Muscle, Mopar Action, etc. mention anything less than a V-8. Just Wondering!!!!!!!!!
