Was at SRT track experience two weeks ago and when we were in the meeting in the morning they had told us that the cars that we are going to be using they had the tires aired up to 50 psi.
The other day I was in the empty parking lot with my car trying to do some same maneuvers that I was doing at the track experience and it just felt my tires were just rolling over on the side walls which were aired up to stock pressure 32 psi.
I know on the sidewalls F1 tires the max pressure is 51 PSI.
I did yesterday air up my tires to 50 PSI just to see how the car would handle it does ride a lot harder as you all would expect.
But I can really bear down into corners now.
Just wanted to know what you guys think about this and about the safety of having the tires aired up that high.

It even happens wen I shift. I kinda sounds like wen the brakes are bad and they squeal, well that's how it sounds. And I'm 100% sure it's not the brakes.
I'm kinda getting tired of all the problems my Cali is giving me, problem after problem.:disgust: Pretty much sux cuz I really like my car but oh well.
If stuff like this keeps happening I'm gonna get rid of it. :(

Is this a common problem with this car? Is it a good deal? I can fix the minor problems if that's all it needs. Just don't want there to be a huge problem that i have to fix and dump a ton of money in to.

Like I said, the car looks as it does in the pictures, albeit the three dents i showed you.

I wanted to discuss this over the phone.(Easier than all this typing lol) But here is a complete detail of the car and history. The car was never in an accident, clean title, clean carfax.

The exterior just needs some touching up. A couple minor scratches here and there. The paint chip on the fender I told you about before. There is some wear on the drivers side seat bolsters.

The car was owned by a friend before I bought it. He used it as a showcar before I bought it. It had a pretty elaborate stereo system in it, bodykit, as well as Mopar stage 3. He also installed Lambo doors on the car. (Which have since been turned back to stock. He never tracked it. The clutch I found out was a Spec Stage 3. Prone to premature failing. Also had vynil ghrapics on it. It was garaged kept, stored winters and barely taken out in the rain the enitre time he owned it.

He purchased a SRT-8 jeep. And decided to sell the SRT-4 with everything on it.

At the price he was asking, no one was interested. (It was alot lol) He had over 20k worth of stuff on it) So He diceided to part out and put to stock. He was in the middle of turning it back to stock when I bought it.

I purchased new OEM splash shields and fender wells for the car. (The body kit he had on it did not allow for these.)

What the car needs to be perfect:
As discussed some minor paint work
HVAC Recirculate Switch is not working (Have new vac line to rehook, just haven't had a chance)
The fenderwell and splash shields installed(Have not done so yet as that fender needs to be touched up paint wise(paint chip)
The drivers door hinge plastic insert is cracked. Door opens and closes fine, just makes a creaking noise.

There will be no problem with the interstate title transfer. I have sold cars to people out of state before. The guy that bought my CLK55 was from OH.

So, while I waited the entire time it took them to glue this thing (I suppose they let it set a while before giving me back my keys), I spoted a Jeep SRT8 in the lot.

I sat in it for a while to get the feeling of the position. It was a used 2008, 40,000km, at 39,000$.

They wouldn't let me give it a spin :tongue3:
