I gotta know when?

Is there an official drop-date for the SRT4? I am definitely going to buy it I just want to know how long I have to wait. I currently don't have a car so I took my mother's PT Cruiser and really have to get out of it. It's an automatic and I'm having absolutely no fun. Does anyone have any info on this yet?

There is no official date, but a lot of people are saying Spring of 07. Although I think it might even be pushed back more if DX is not able to supply the current demand for regular Dodge Calibers.

I just came from a dealership and they told me that not even they know the date. They said I can build one up and have it set-up so when they do arrive I can have one set up. Then the sales associate said it will be roughly $30k. $30k......if its gonna be that I'de rather save up and get myself an SRT8 or an Evo or something like that. I understand that base price is gonna be around $23k but honestly......how many things are you going to have to add. I just want the car with the engine, power windows, and those nice as wheels which will come with the car regardless. I can do without a system, in-cabin cooler, and any other little gadgets. How can he say $30k.

I don't think he or anyone knows the msrp price of the SRT-4. I think he was just guess because the pricing info hasn't even been released yet. If it costs $30k, might as well as spend the money and spring for a STi or wait until next year and buy the new Evo X.

Can't say I have, but I think it's odd to release info on a Saturday. We'll have to wait until tomorrow and see if any new breaks. Hopefully they'll release the pricing and that it's reasonable, not like th 30k estimates for fully loaded SRT-4's I seen.
