New SRT4 owner in Vancouver area

Hi all, I have had a CSRT4 for 2 weeks now and am enjoying it a lot. This looks like a great online community and I have found a lot of helpful information, thanks everyone!

I ended up buying a very low mileage red '08 (only 840 km's) with Nav, sunroof etc for just over $10,000 less than what a new '09 is stickered at. Seems the dealerships are quite proud of the new one(s) around here as none wanted to make any deals! They had the cheek to ask full price!
I did chance the aftermarket warranty ($1400) as it is supposed to cover 7 years for everything. Hopefully I won't have to find out

Clayton

Good to hear that there are a few out here. I have seen only one other CSRT4 out this way on the road (and it was silver too!)
If there's a get together let me know

Hi Klaytonz, which dealer did you end up buying at?..... if you look in the buy and sell, there is 7 or 8 for sale...anywhere between low 20's to low 30s , between here and Salmon arm.
I took one out for a burn at Willowbrook Chrysler, they were asking 32K, with no miles on it.
May wait till the fall to see whats going on with prices.

lol, was that Willowbrook or Langley Chrysler across the street? The black car at Langley is the one I first looked at. They didn't want to budge on the price so I bought the under 1000km one from Deer Lake (who just switched to a Mitsubishi dealership!) for over 10k less. I kept seeing the same ones listed for sale for weeks and the sales staff at Deer Lake told me I was the first interested buyer with good credit to make an offer in a long time.
Good luck searching!

Sweet deal. I got the black one from Kamloops and what a fun ride. They have an 09 Red CSRT in Vernon, I've seen it a few times passing through. If you guys are going for a cruise you should head up this way to Kamloops, the Coq is a real BLAST to drive with our cars....

I'd love to try the Coq again. I haven't had the oppertunity for a few years back when it still a toll highway and it was during a blizzard! Hopefully I can find an excuse to get the Cali out into the interior highways for some fun driving soon

As for cops on highways, maybe I shouldn't have bought a bright red car
I definately got away with a lot of spirited driving with my black taurus blending in well. Also there seem to be about 20 times as many south of the border! Driving down to Seatac I saw a trap every couple of miles, and many of those had multiple police.
