gas guage issues

Hi everyone~
I bought a 2008 caliber last week and the gas guage flucuates. Has anyone else had problems with this?

YES.

This is one of the few problems I am having with the car. Sometimes I get in and the guage is off as much as 1/8th of a tank from the last time I drove it.

Oddly enough, the DTE doesnt seem to be as erratic as the gauge and I would think they both work off the same sensor in the tank.

I had a Mazdaspeed3 for about 7 months last year and I had more problems with it than the CSRT4.

I have just learned to live with it because in the end the mileage is the same.

i dont really notice anything... sometimes it seems a bit off like it will lag at being full anf then drop 1/8

but when its near empty its accurate.. and thats all I care about.
