Bad Fuel Injector

Well i have 2500 miles on csrt4 and im driving along and all the sudden i loose power the turbo stops working. I was still able to drive it home, i got it towd to dealer and come to find out it was the fuel injector! my ? is how could this be? i have used 93 octane since i bought it, is this normal
