Water Injection

There's a good article on water injection in the September issue of Import Tuner. They go into detail and everything. I never knew such a beast existed. They said it could essentially replaced front mount intercoolers. So, what are you comments.

Can you educate me? I have no idea what this is or what it is supposed to do for your car. I really need to get under my hood and poke around a bit. 10 years ago I did all my own car maintenance and never blinked twice about it. On my Saturn I did a lot too. But with my cali, I'm a little timid...

I think it's just because it's new and I haven't gotten the courage to tinker with it.

it's a way to cool down your intake air if you have a turbo or supercharger.

Ah! Well that would explain why I'm not knowledgable in that area.
I won't be supercharging or turboing my car.

EXACTLY! In fact, I know a guy who has his AV fitted with nitrous. He can kick some serious butt on the drag strip.
