| What kind of vehicle do you wish to purchase? Once you decide that, we can narrow it down to a few specific vehicles to choose from. Are you looking to buy a truck? A compact car (4 cylinder)? a muscle car (v8)? a SUV? Something else? |

Hahn's Racecraft has already released a turbocharger system for the Pontiac Solstice, which has the same 2.4L Ecotec. The turbocharger has 2 stages, which produce 270hp and 330hp respectively. The turbocharger system for the 2.4L Cobalt SS will start at stage II, there will be no stage I. Also here's a snipet of 1/4 mile times of other Ecotec vehicles turbocharged by Hahn's Racecraft. We don't have solid 1/4 mile results yet on Cobalt, but as comparison... Our Cavalier/Sunfire systems, when operated at similar power levels as this Stage II 2.4 kit, have resulted in mid-to-high 12's. Our Solstice 2.4 car has gone 12.77 on street radials using a stock 2.4. Our Sunfire 2.2, at Stage V power (but same turbosystem configuration as what we have here), with slicks and piston/rod upgrades has run low 11's @ 125 MPH. With this information you can kind of get a feel of what a Turbocharged 2.4L Cobalt SS can do. I'm sure that It would smoke a stock Neon SRT-4. If I am not mistaken the base price of a 2.4L Cobalt SS is about 18k, and the Turbocharger system will be around 4k. So for around 22k, you can have a SRT-4 killer. If that isn't bang for your buck, I don't know what is. For more information, visit the following thread at our partner site CobaltSS.net Hahn's 2.4 stage II turbo kit | |

| What is your price range? You might also want to consider a used car and buy a used STi or EVO, although I would only buy them if they look liked they were well taken care of and stock. You can get a really good deal if you're lucky. |
