TSB numbers to take to the dealer

OK here is the list of TSB's. As I explained in a post somewhere on here TSB's are not necessarily recalls but more like the factory's notes to the dealer for a quick fix. Not everyone is complaining but for those that are here is the fix. If you walk in armed with this number they have no way to tell you, "Oh the company says there isn't anything so it must be normal" I know there is probably more of these but I will have to find them.

Well, I'm glad you shared them. How else can we have a leg up?
besides, i'd rather go into the dealer with my prob and a diagnostic # for him to look up so I can get what I need and be on my way. I don't have time for them to "search" for the issue and its solution.

About the only one I can complain about that I can figure out without some explanation of some of the items is:

23-029-06 Console Armrest Slides Too Easy Or Will Not Stay In Place

That sucker slides too easily when ever you put your arm on it.

I am wondering about the code 21-013-06 Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Automatic Shifter Diagnostics. Is that a CEL light that's thrown and the code it produces?

Thank you for all the info, sorry to hear you have had so many problems. Did this list help? Has the dealership fixed all your problems?

TSB#18-031-07 April28/07 CVT flash update

I just got back from my free oil change at the dealership, while
there I talked to tech regarding TSB 18-031-07 and brought in hard
copy of it they weren't aware of it and were suprised I was plus the
copy.
They did the flash update and WOW what a difference, acceleration
has changed dramatically and now I have to check the tach to see if
it's still running.I'll post how it effects mpg for the better or worse.
I also wanted the emergency brake adjusted as I use it everyday
and the handle was getting higher with every week.
It did need adjusting, but you can do it yourself as the tech showed me.
Park on level surface and engage the emerge over and over the handle
will slowly get lower and lower.I had to do it about 30 or so times.

The flash definitely required for my Caliber.

Well the verdict is in as far as I'm concerned, had Tsb#18-031-07
performed 2 weeks ago and filled up the tank.
Using Mopar oil/filters with 100% city driving my mpg has gone
from 27 mpg/imp gal to 32.038 mpg/imp gal.
Taking in summer gas blend and warmer temps with 10532 kms/
abt 6200 miles on odo I am happy Caliber owner.

Get the flash!!!!!!!

Tsb#18-031-07 question??

ok, I was just reading the mileage you are getting in your car with this Tsb!
So, is this something that would help an '07 SXT? We are only getting about 24 hwy from our's. We did squeeze 3 extra mpg's by putting in synthic oil the last oil change.
Any other suggestions how we could get extra miles?
Sally F.

Yes at the time I had that TSB done it did improve my mpg as stated.
My Caliber now has 30,000 km/18,600 miles on it and on a recent
trip driving the POSTED speed limit up to 62-65 mph it turned in
7 liters/100km or 33.6 mpg US.

Just a note of interest-if your '07 has a pause or hesitates on acceleration from a dead
stop then you can try this remedy that has worked for many owners.
1-Turn ignition key to ON not start.
2-Slowly depress gas pedal to floor while counting to 15.
3-Slowly release gas pedal full up while counting to 15.
4-Turn ignition to off and remove key.
5-Start car and take for test drive.

You can do this whenever you feel the need to it WILL NOT damage your Caliber.
