slow to roll on it

I am still looking to get started but I just got home to pa from detroit. I got here and my caliber had to go to the dealer because it will not crank. 800 miles on her so far too. I checked everthing. Good batt. no codes reset pcm and security...no go. So there replacing the second module of 2 that they thought was the problem. I hope to have her back tomorrow. I connot wait to get rid of my kia rio loaner. I then have to go back to detroit on friday. I hope to get somewhere with it before then though.

screw it

i am not doing it right now....It is coming up on race season and I have to finish the talon. I have the suspension and roll cage to finish welding in and that is sucking up my time.....plus there are too many idiots on this forum that dont understand simple things like....what a can bus is or how a resistor works or what a capacitor does.

On a side note: I am amazed at the amount of idiots in threads I read. People that dont know how to solder a connection asking how to wire a FIC for example. Idiots idiots idiots. If you dont understand that kind of stuff you need to buy a manual and read up, bitches. I was working on a few things to bring to the table, and provide schematics and posibilites for things, like a stock boost gage interface with a calibration utility and offset for clamper map signals...but screw it. I dont know why I should waste time if there is noone who would spend any time helping. Instead you are all out face bookin and waiting for someone else to do all the work so you can steal the idea. I realized this with things like the hid upgrades and boost gauge questions in forums that are just meaningless banter that never become resolved. ridiculous

So I'm assuming you were born already knowing all of this?

Everyone had to start somewhere first jackass.

Wow what a douche! Forums are partly here to discuss and learn. if we all knew everything we would not be here. Apparently you are so brilliant how come you haven't figured out the tuning already? I guess you are an idiot huh?

U are correct Earl. I don't understand these big headed assclowns who come on here and talk down to everyone. Not everyone is a gearhead or an electronics whiz, so those of you who are backup and check yourself. I do beleive he was the one who asked if someone was willing to give up their stock pcm so he could try to figure out the tuning codes. He figures it out and we all get something out of it. He makes money and we make HP. Sounds like a good trade off to me. Lets all be friends, no need for stupid name calling.

Talking

i had not planed on making money on it...dont even know how that would be possible being that I am talking OPEN SOURCE. If you do not know what that is then dont comment until you search. I am preterbed because people dont know how to search and they rely on everyine else to have the set to actually try things. I still plan on doing this stuff but I thought I could get some others to assist. I am not going to do all the work and have noone even contribute. I already ordered a stage 1 and will be pulling my stock ecu to reverse engineer it. I am sorry i ranted...just got sick of a pm box full of questions about a hid install. always the same questions. It is all on the net if you just search.

One more thing....i did start somewhere....in the garge working on minibikes...then go carts...then dirtbikes...then...i think you get the point...i am not a genious....i just try untill i figure it out. i am not a college graduate.....but i am a software engineer.....it is all about perseverence.

regardless i am sorry for flying off the handle.

annd i dont appreciate someone bitching about name-calling and then summing up the argument by calling me an assclown or other derogatory items....where i come from that is called hipocritical.

opened ecu last night...this is what i have to work with so far.

not much but this is the chips located in the pcm. I need to figure out what they all do and then go from there. Hopefull one of them is the processor because the other side of the board is only accessable if i ruin the ecu...i am afraid. I still do not have my stage one....on backorder till the 29th. Therefore i am stuck holding on to this one intact. I would open one fully if i knew i didnt needit in the case i screw it up. I dont know if anyone has a bad one they can get rid of. I only need to disect one unit...even a junk one will work.
