Best rim size for Dodge Caliber

I want to buy some custom rims for my Dodge Caliber. I was thinking maybe 19" or 18" inch. A friend keeps suggesting to go with 20" rims, but I think thats way too big. 20's would look good maybe on a Chrysler 300, but not for my Dodge Caliber. What kind of rims has everyone else put on their Dodge Caliber?

I was just wondering if you have found some rims yet? I actually like the stock rims just as long as they are the chrome plated and not the aluminum. I think 18's would look good on the Caliber. 19's might be pushing the limit: they may start rubbing the inside of the fender.

Well, I want 20's. I have talked with a couple of different shops here in town and they both say it won't be an issue at all. I want to get rims with smaller spokes that allow you to see the calipers more so i can powder coat them to match my car I know I'm wierd.

you're not weird at all. color matched calipers are awesome. then you can upgrade to some nice big shiny drilled rotors.

20's look good on it, but you have to have really low profile tires to be able to have them. I wonder how much tire would get chewed up in the inner fender when turning. I think I'm going to shoot for 18's, so I can get a little tire for the better ride.

OOOO now that sounds really cool! But my car is steel blue so I'm not sure it would show up really good. I could pick another color to show through.

I wonder how much the ride is changed when riding on 20's. To me 20's seem to be a bit too much, I would go 19's at the most.
